CHIANTI

SIENA/SAN GIMIGNANO

Drive through the Chianti area to San Gimignano,a charming little town perched on a hilltop remained intact through the centuries.Proceed on to Siena,free time for lunch (not included)an d than guided visit of the Cathedral,the Opera Metropolitana museum,the Piazza del Campo,the Town Hall.Return to Florence.

PISA

Through the Tuscan countryside to Pisa.Visit of Piazza dei Cavalieri,than Piazza dei Miracoli with the unique Leaning Tower,the Cathedral,the Baptistery and other important monuments.Return to Florence.

CHIANTI WITH DINNER

A journey through the Chianti countryside that is known all over the world for its wine,to reach a magnificent Castle:a visit of the garden and the cellar where the famous barrels of the Chianti Classico wine are found.Stop for a snack and wine tasting.Then visit one of the most beautiful Romanesque church in the area.For dinner:a typical meal drinks included in the atmosphere of an old village among the hills.

LUCCA AND ITS VILLAS

(full day excursion,every Wednesday and Sunday)

Visit of Lucca,a magnificent city of art,beginning with a walk along the famous 16^th century walls that enclose the old centre of the city.Visit of the church of San Frediano with its large mosaic,Piazza Anfiteatro,Torre Guinigi,Cathedral of San Martino,church of San Michele in Foro and Giacomo Puccini house where you will admire the piano with which”Turandot”was composed.Free time for lunch not included,than visit to the Villas in the area surrounding Lucca.These villas were the summer residence of Lucca’s most important noble families:Villa Torrigiani and the splendid gardens of Villa Mansi.Return to Florence.
