ISLE OF ISCHIA TOUR

DAY 1 – NAPLES – ISLE OF ISCHIA

We enjoy breakfast on our flight prior to arrival at the Naples Airport, where we will be met by our motorcoach for transfer to the pier. Here, we will board the ferry for the short trip to the Isle of Ischia, the largest of the islands in the Bay of Naples. Arriving on the island, we will transfer to the wonderful Hotel which will be our home for the next 7 nights. The remainderof the afternoon is at leisure to freshen – up prior to our welcome cocktail, orientation meeting and dinner this evening.

DAY 2 – ISLE OF ISCHIA

Following breakfast, we will embark on a morning sightseeing tour of this picturesques island, winding our way through the towns of Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte. We will return to the hotel and lunch is on our own. The afternoon is at leisure to explore on your own or visit one of the excellent local beaches, such as Spiaggiadegli Inglese (which is on the other side of the port). Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

DAY 3 – ISLE OF CAPRI

After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for the beautiful Isle of Capri!Our private motorcoach will transfer us to the pier facility where we will board the ferry for a scenic trip across the Bay of Naples to Capri. Arriving on the island, we will be hosted on a morning tour of many of the best sites on Capri. Lunch is on our own. The afternoon is free to do some shopping or take an optional tour to the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto). Return to our hotel on Ischia for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 – ISLE OF ISCHIA

Breakfast at our hotel. And a real treat for everyone a relaxing and healthy mud treatment and massage at our hotel. The afternoon is at leisure to do some shopping or visit another of the serene beaches of Ischia, such as Spiaggia dei Pescatori. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

DAY 5 – POMPEII SORRENTO

Following breakfast, we will transfer to the pier for our ferry ride to the ancient historic site of Pompeii. We will be hosted on a guided tour of the ruins and visit the archeological excavations, which are an ongoing project. Following lunch (on our own), we will board our motorcoach for a short ride down the peninsula to beautiful Sorrento, where we will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. We will also have some free time to browse and shop. Late, in afternoon, we will board the hydrofoil for the return trip to Ischia. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

DAY 6 – AMALFt, COAST/DRIVE – POSITANO – AMALFI

After breakfast, we will embark on a mini – cruise or bus tour (depending on weather conditions)of the picturesque Amalfi Coast/Drive, famous the world over for its scenic beauty with the claim of being”the most beautiful coast in Europe”. We will also visit the quaint, seaside town of Positano, which has inspired a thousand picture postcards and the medieval fortress of Amalfi, which is set in a wide cleft in the cliffs. Return to Ischia via ferry for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7 – ISLE OF ISCHIA

Breakfast at the hotel and another relaxing and soothing mud treatment and massage at the Hotel. Lunch is on our own. This afternoon we will be treated to a”Wine – Tasting Farewell Party”. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
