Day 2 VENICE
Discover the real beauty of this city as a local guide brings you to St. Mark’s Cathedral, the Grand Canal, the Doge’s Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs. Enjoy the views from the canals on an optional gondola ride or visit a Venetian glass factory to see how vases and glass artworks are created.
Day 3 TUSCANY COOKING LESSON
The evening offers endless possibilities as you explore Florence. Cook a traditional Italian meal with professional chefs, then dine on your own creations!
Day 4 FLORENCE PISA
A local guide shows you the Duomo, Ghiberti’s Bapistry doors, the Ponte Vecchio and the Church of Santa Croce. View Michelangelo’s David in the Accademia. You may lean toward the optional adventure of visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Day 5 ASSISI ROME
Through Tuscany to explore Assisi. Visit the beautiful basilica of St. Francis and study Giotto’s 28 stunning frescoes that depict the saint’s life. Continue to Rome to explore the Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps and the t. t.
Day 6 ROME
Visit the Vatican with a local guide to see St. Peter’s and the Sistine Chapel. Recapture the past of the”Eternal City”at the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, Trajan’s Column and the Roman Forum.
Day 7 POMPEII EXCURSION
Explore the a bustling Roman city buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A. D.Spend your final evening in the city of Rome.
