Day 1
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure. This evening, join our optional illuminated Rome tour with dinner. Pass by Via Veneto, Palazzo Margherita, Porta Pinciana, Villa Borghese, Piazzale Flaminio, Via Flaminia, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Augusto Imperatore, Via del Corso to arrive at the Trevi Fountain for a visit. Then continue with Piazza Venezi, the Capitol, the Imperial Forum, the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, the Aventine Hill, and the Circus Maximus. At the end of the tour, taste traditional Roman cuisine in a typical restaurant, accompanied by folk music ROME
Day 2
This morning, we offer an optional half day tour of the Vatican Museums. Tour the Vatican Museums and the Vatican Galleries. Admire the Round Hall, the Hall of the Greek Cross, the Tomb of St. Helen and St. Constance. Stop to see the Sistine Chapel frescoes by Michelangelo. Continue to the Galleries of the Chandeliers, Tapestries and Geographical Maps and the Vatican Library Hall ROME
Day 3
Full day at leisure to explore Rome independently or choose an optional half day tour of the monuments of Rome. Visit the Pantheon, originally a pagan temple. Continue to Palazzo Madama, seat of the Senate of the Republic, and the Piazza Navona, built on the ruins of the Domitian's Circus. Admire Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's Basilica ROME
Day 4
Full day at leisure or choose our half day tour of ancient Rome. Pass via Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Venezia and the square of the Capitol, and view the unique sight of the Forum and Palatine Hill with a view of the massive Colosseum. Walk along the ancient pavement, which crosses the ruins of the Roman Forum, the Curia, and the Reggia. Admire the Temple of Vesta, the Arch of Titus and the Arch of Constantine. The tour continues towards the Circus Maximus, the Aventine Hill and the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, ending with a visit to the Basilica of St. Pauls' outside the Walls ROME
Day 5
Full day at leisure or join our optional full day tour to Naples and Capri with lunch. Depart Rome and drive along the "Sun Route" motorway, crossing the regions of Lazio and Campania. Pass the famous Abbey of Montecassino. Once in Naples, there will be a short panoramic tour of the city, before embarking for Capri. On arrival, weather permitting, you will enjoy a visit of the Blue Grotto via row boat. Then visit Anacapri, a tiny and picturesque Mediterranean-style village with a wonderful view of the whole Gulf of Naples. Enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant ROME
