ROMA CITTA ETERNA

Day 1

Arrival in Rome and transfer to your hotel, welcome drink and meeting with our representative who will introduce our program.   Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel.   In the morning, guided visit of the Vatican Musuems and St. Peter’s.   Lunch in a restaurant nearby.   In the afternoon, guided visit of the historical center of Rome, visiting its most beautiful places:   toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain and climb the Spanish Steps.   Dinner at a typical Roman restaurant.   Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel.   Full day excursion to Tivoli and Castelli Romani; in the morning, guided visit of Villa Adriana or Villa d’Este.   Lunch in a restaurant in Frascati, tasting real Roman food.   In the afternoon visit to the Castelli Romani:   Albano (with its beautiful lake) and Castel Gandolfo (the summer residence of the Pope).   In the evening return to Rome.   Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel.   Start your visit of ancient Rome at the Roman Forum (Foro Romano), Palatine Hill (Colle Palatino), the Colosseum (Colosseo), the Circus Maximus (Circo Massimo), and the strikingly well-preserved Pantheon.   Then relax and enjoy a gelato (ice cream) at the Piazza Navona.   Visit a bustling open-air market, such as the one at Campo dei Fiori (Field of Flowers).   Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel.   Whole day at leisure for shopping or to discover the Eternal City on your own.   Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
